I cannot adequately describe the impact that this book has had on my life and the gratitude I feel towards the author for creating this treasure!
If you never read another post on my site and decide to kick this blog to the curb, click that link and buy this book!
Even if your gallbladder is still tucked underneath your liver and is in good working order, I still implore you to buy this book.
Robb Wolf's presentation on how we are "wired to eat" and the topic of "gut health" as it relates to the foods we eat is shocking and nothing short of mind blowing!
Note: I have no direct association with Mr. Wolf and suffice to say he does not know I even exist. How did I blindly stumble upon this book you might ask?

The week of July 25th, 2023 I was attending my eldest son's travel season finale basketball tournament in Las Vegas. We stayed up way too late everynight which provided ample time for me to search the web for information on how to change my diet after gall bladder surgery.

I was motivated to find a solution to a series of problems I was having post gallbladder surgery. Namely, feeling bloated, #2 turning into #4 = the number of hours I spent each day in the bathroom, and when things down south would start to finally move, it became a four alarm "4-Flusher Fire" culminating in explosive diarrhea and all things unholy!

Some of this I attribute to an Ox Bile supplement I read about online. This online guru with a white board and colored markers suggested that this would solve all of my problems?
He must have been an older guru since he didn't recommend gummies!
Ox bile acted more like a laxative and reminded me of an angry codependent girlfriend slinging my belongings all over the front yard while screaming at the top of her lungs, metaphorically speaking of course!
Forgive me as I have digressed from my point of how I found the book
So as I was extensively searching the web, this obscure Reddit thread popped up. The primary gist being "You would have to be a complete dumb$&@ to join any sort of weight loss program, purchase diet pills or the latest in "gummies that solve every health problem". He recommended Wired to Eat by Robb Wolf.
This was a general health, feel better, lose weight thread and made no mention of using the info in the book to solve missing gallbladder problems.
Boy was I happy that my Noom subscription had lapsed and the miracle apple cider gummies that were supposed to cure everything short of cancer ran out else I would have felt like a complete idiot after reading the thread!
The thread directed the reader to Robb Wolf's book and advocated trying your best to understand the information (there is a lot) go through the recommended 30 day challenge (Be Warned: The carb flu is real and will have you questioning yourself for a couple of weeks), and see how you feel.

We came home July 29th from Vegas. On July 30th I started the "Wired to Eat" 30 day challenge and the rest is history.
Stay tuned for more of my journey ....... Paul
